World-renowned pianist Alexander Toradze, universally recognized as a masterful virtuoso in the grand Romantic tradition, performed repertoire by Sergei Rachmaninov alongside selected up-and-coming musicians from his outstanding piano studio at the Erich Kunzel Center for Arts and Education home of the Cincinnati School for the Creative and Performing Arts. Toradze has enriched the Great Russian pianistic heritage with his own unorthodox interpretive conceptions, deeply poetic lyricism, and intensely emotional excitement. Prominent Cincinnati artists from 5th Street Gallery showcased their latest work in a fine arts show. A post-concert reception with the artists was held immediately following the performance for all ticket holders. Coffee Emporium artisan coffee beverages were available for all guests.
